Job Title: Retail Associate & Social Media Coordinator

Location: 400 Maple Ave | Oradell, NJ 07649

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (could be a great opportunity for a stay at home Mom or Dad or someone who needs to be home early in the am and late in the afternoon)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and versatile Retail Associate with a passion for both customer service and digital marketing. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional in-store shopping experience while also managing and growing our social media presence. Key Responsibilities:

Retail Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers, providing personalized service and product recommendations.

• Process transactions, handle returns/exchanges, and maintain accurate sales records.

• Organize and restock shelves, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible.

• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure the store environment is inviting and professional.

• Participate in store inventory management and assist in merchandising displays.

• Promote store promotions, sales, and loyalty programs to customers.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.

Social Media Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.

• Create and schedule daily posts, including photos, videos, and engaging content that aligns with brand values.

• Interact with followers and engage in conversations to build an active online community.

• Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and customer engagement to optimize content.

• Track social media performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.

• Collaborate with the team on in-store events, sales, or product launches to promote across social platforms.

• Take photos and videos in-store, capturing product details, promotions, and customer interactions for social media content.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is a plus).

• Previous experience in retail a plus, customer service, or a similar role preferred.

• Strong passion for social media platforms and content creation.

• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Canva, Instagram/Facebook Insights).

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to multitask, work independently, and stay organized.

• Creative mindset with a keen eye for photography and design.

• Basic understanding of retail operations and sales goals.
